The purpose of this campaign is to protect the natural rainforest and the 30,000 species that inhabit this eco-system. Currently rainforests are at threat form deforestation to make way for palm tree plantations, due to this many species such as the Orangutan are soon to be come extinct.  Palm oil can be found in a variety of products which you use day to day, the consumption of these products from unsustainable sources is causing the expansion of the palm oil industry which is eroding more and more of our rainforests.  This campaign is to raise awareness, reduce consumption of palm oil products and petetion maufacturers to use sustainable sources.
